Round calorie bomb? No way!
The sweet classics from the USA are available in all possible variations. Whether icing sugar or glaze, conventional donuts are round sugar and calorie bombs. How many calories does a donut have? An average chocolate doughnut contains around 270 calories. Compared to our protein version, this is a difference of 130 calories. In addition, our protein doughnut has a much better figure in terms of sugar content. The BODY ATTACK dough contains only 5g* sugar - conventional colleagues easily reach 27g and more. The classic from the States is additionaly deep-fried in plenty of fat and therefore comes up to a proud 25g fat. Our donut makes the running with only 15g**. We make donuts great again!
Donut or doughnut? This is how the cult pastry came about
Berliner, doughnuts, crepe, churros etc. - the list of sweet pastries is long. Of course, the donut cannot be missing in this squad. You wonder how and when the sweet treat was invented? And what is the real name, donut or doughnut? Body attack clears up. Curious: At first the dough balls had no hole at all. According to the story, the American captain Hanson Crocket Gregory (1832 - 1921) is said to have perforated home-made round doughnuts in the middle where the dough had never been properly baked He mainly filled this space with nuts. This is where the name "Doughnut" (dough nut) comes from. In the 90s, the shorter version "Donut" became established in the USA. The other theory about the young captain says that he skewered the round dough doughnuts on the steering wheel to keep his hands free for steering. For the Americans, Gregory is considered the inventor of the donut with the famous hole in the middle.
